In anticipation of the Graduate Students Research Conference, the Write Site will present on how to successfully and dynamically present your work at a conference. With the goal of helping students prepare to submit their pre-recorded poster presentations or PowerPoints to the GSRC conference, this webinar will: 1) explore the rewarding aspects of presenting at a conference, 2) illustrate how to make and present an effective poster presentation, and 3) discuss how to prepare an engaging talk and accompanying slide deck, along with how to present with confidence. Students will walk away with a solid plan for how to write, create, or revise their materials for a conference so they can stand out when they stand up to present.
