Have you ever seen or heard about how the AUGSA Council works for the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science students? Are you satisfied with student support services, including the Brightspace features and library?
I have been a doctoral student in distance education since May 2023. However, as time passes, I question the student government’s advocacy efforts and the quality of education at Athabasca University.
This is my third attempt for the AUGSA Council. I have been very active in the Graduate Student Research Conference, diligently working on my studies as a recipient of the Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship (AGES) and passionately participating in the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Alongside my studies and work, I actively volunteer in the community as a member of the online implementation team, facilitator of the English conversation circle, and board member. I have all the attributes, qualifications, and competencies to become your council.
You should not be patient with declining student life and services any longer. You deserve better student support and the opportunity to be heard. Vote for me because I can become your true vocal advocate.
